Phoenix!

Heh heh, remember my Venice hope? It was burst and burnt, but like the legendary phoenix, it has risen from the ashes!! Sings "Relight my fire....." Ok, ok enough of the drama lah.

My friend is now confirmed going, which is great news for me. I also managed to track down the "Kim Jio Kar"(Under Banana Tree) loanshark. So, now I have a 50% chance of going, the final obstacle now is me school. Please pray for me ;).

I've actually been tracking the weather of Venice the past week via me desktop....

Happy halloween!!

Blabber...

Had my first semestral exam paper this morning, it was a Medical/Surgical paper. Basically about nursing management of specific illnesses and some questions about the operating theatre. Considering I only started mugging 2 days back, I'll be lucky just to get a D grade. But then again, from previous experiences, there were people worst than me who passed. So hopefully, things will repeat themselves. :) Heh heh, talk about seeing the glass half full.

Well, the paper was rather ok, but perhaps my aging blain(as pck would say) didn't take it too good. What I studied became like a huge jigsaw puzzle, with pieces missing here and there.

One down and three more to go! I can't believe that the school can be so cruel to schedule the exams in between the two public holidays next week. I'm just keeping my toes crossed. :)

Burst!! :(

Sigh.... from the look of things, Venice and the gondolas will have to wait. My schedule and financial just wouldn't permit. Bo pian lah.... :(

Meanwhile here are some shots of Rome I took a few years back, they were 'stitched' together using photoshop.

Gadget of desire

The new iPods are here! This is the 5th generation iPod, features added are the ability to play video, bigger colour screen, longer battery life and bigger capacity (30 & 60 gig). I'm sure it will sell like hotcakes again.....

Creative just don't get it, despite the iPod lines having less features like voice recorder, radio etc, Creative's MP3 players sales still lack far behind the iPods. Reason is simple, iPod is not just a mp3 player, it's a lifestyle! Not to mention the awesome design and simplicity of the user interface. And dun let me start on iTunes.

Hmmm..... now the tough choice is white or black...:P

Venice

One of my good friend's short film is selected for a competition in Venice. And the organisers have invited him over providing free accomodation. Since moi was involved in the production of the short film, I'm hoping to tag along for the trip too.

The keyword here is HOPE, as it is held in the end of Nov, right in the middle of my hospital attachment. Will I be able to postpone my attachment for one week, will I get to see the Gondolas? Sigh.....will just have to wait and see.
