What the hell are we doing here?

I was having lunch with one of my colleague who recently graduated with me. We were blabbering abt how our lives would be, now that we are serving our bond for the next 3 years .
Interestingly, we both experienced a similar epiphany sometime during the last few days, we both wondered how the heck we left our previous job and what the hell we were doing in nursing.

Her epiphany came to her when she saw the Forbidden City Ad with Kit Chan in it. She used to be a set designer, and Kit Chan's sister was one of her work buddy. So the memories came rushing back.

For me, it happened while I was in the ward preparing to work on a patient's dressing. Somehow, it connected to a memory of mine where I was preparing props for a shoot.

I guess it's inevitable that we all feel uncertain in certain phases of our lives, there is often a hell lot of "What ifs". And being human, we always think that the grass is greener on the other side. :)

For me it's the uncertainty of starting from ground zero again, but I will brave the challenge no matter what! Madonna latest tune "JUMP" sort of summarise what I mostly felt.

There’s only so much you can learn in one place
The more that I wait, the more time that I waste

I haven’t got much time to waste, it’s time to make my way
I’m not afraid of what I’ll face, but I’m afraid to stay
I’m going down my own road and I can make it alone
I'll work and I'll fight, Till I find a place of my own

Are you ready to jump?
Get ready to jump
Don’t ever look back, oh baby,
Yes, I’m ready to jump
Just take my hands
Get ready to jump.....

Heng ah!

Yeah! I managed to pass my IPPT yesterday! And still managed to garner a silver! heh heh....

Except now, I'm suffering the consequences. I'm aching all over, my legs, my arms and even my butt! Ha ha, the slightest clench, eg when I walk up the steps or hasten my steps there will be like sharp electric jolts across my butts..... ha ha... and I reckon it's gonna be like that for the next few days.

Oh well small price to pay to squeeze $200 bucks outta the army....heh heh. :P
